More about Eugene

I am a professional counselor (LMHC #013835 – New York, TPMC4140 – Florida, and LPCC #15256 – California) who works with individuals and couples struggling with difficulties in life and relationships.

Are you experiencing relational and emotional difficulties, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, or struggling to process traumatic experiences or challenging relationships? I would love to create a supportive space to help you overcome these issues and move toward a state of relational, emotional, mental, spiritual, and behavioral health.

People say that I am empathetic and a skilled therapist who brings a wealth of experience into my work and that I create a warm and non-judgmental space to explore patterns, make connections, gain insight, and move toward healing.

My counseling approach is evidence-based, holistic, collaborative, and client-based.

I have training in EMDR to help people who have experienced present, complex, and developmental trauma. I have specialized training in Partner Betrayal Trauma to support those who struggle with the impact of a partner’s infidelity. For couples with relationship issues, I have advanced training in EFT and am Prepare/Enrich certified to assist couples in repairing their negative relationship patterns and connecting meaningfully with each other. As a former vocational pastor, I have experience journeying with those with religious trauma. I also utilize a combination of CBT, ACT, IFS, Mindfulness, and other modalities to work with people dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship conflicts, and other difficulties in life.

Please contact me today for a 15-minute free consultation.

Personal Facts: During my personal time, I enjoy jumping into new adventures (sky diving – pictured), exploring the City, eating pizza, reading graphic novels (comic books), and spending time with my community.

Eugene combines a calm and empathetic presence with a gift for seeing the big-picture goals that help individuals move to the next step in their growth path.
